Fast fashion has a real cost to workers, to communities, and to the environment.
We're building local solutions to keep clothing out of landfill and out of overseas processing chains where the true cost is paid by others.

As part of our work, we've used AI (Lovable) to create Made by Truth, a website that displays the verified facts behind the fast fashion items you encounter every day. It's currently in beta while sources are verified.

Closing the Loop Locally
Slowde is developing a textile fill product made from op shop overflow, clothing and fabric that can't be resold and would otherwise end up in landfill or shipped offshore for processing.
We're building relationships with local op shops to divert this material and process it into recycled textile stuffing for upholsterers, furniture makers, and craft suppliers here in Aotearoa. This is early-stage work. We're starting small and building deliberately.
